Shoes-Technology Exhibition in Agra Sets the Foundation for 450 Crore Business in Footwear Components

Agra. Creativity in footwear components, technological development, and innovative research in India are changing the landscape of the Indian market globally. The supply of components in India, which was primarily dependent on imports, is now strengthening rapidly. These were some of the statements made by Purun Dawar, President of AFMEC, while addressing the exhibitors on the second last day of the 58th edition of the ‘Shoe-Tech Agra’ exhibition. He said, “All the components used in shoes are now available in India. Events like Shoe-Tech are becoming the protagonists of this industrial revolution.”
The General Secretary of the event organizing body IFCOMA, Deepak Manchanda, shared the exhibition statistics with the media. Speaking to the media, he said, “In this two-day exhibition, the foundation for a business worth 450 crore in footwear components has been laid, which is certainly an indicator of India’s progress in this trade.”
Visitors Continued to Arrive Till Evening

On the second last day, visitors continued to arrive from morning till late evening. Not only factory owners attended this event, but future entrepreneurs also participated in the exhibition. It seemed that no industry-related businessman wanted to miss out on the opportunity to participate in this event.
